The origins of iJetColor begin with two companies: Printware™ and Memjet™. Printware™ was a company with decades of experience providing solutions to printing problems. Their products and services were focused on making printers more profitable.
Memjet™ had created an engine capable of revolutionizing the envelope printer industry. In its speed and capabilities, there was no other existing product that could compete with the Memjet™ engine.
It Was an Opportunity
At Printware™, we worked with printers, we sold to printers, and we had a pretty good idea of what they wanted and what they needed. They needed to be able to manage print jobs and match color.
They needed something fully integrated. They needed something cleaner and easier than what they currently had.
We Bundled It Intelligently
In order to create a Memjet™ powered solution printers would value, we bundled it. Surrounding the Memjet™ engine with the monitor, the software, the table, and all other components to transform what was already a fantastic product into a turnkey solution.
Along with the envelope press bundle, we also performed on-site installation and user training. Through this, we were able to educate the end user and show them how to make money with it. Because everything was integrated, printers don't have to buy a PC or load software. All they have to do is load up jobs and run them.
The printing didn't change, the engine didn't change. What changed was everything around it.

The bundle and the customer service formed the foundation of the iJetColor brand. Over the years, we've gotten better. Better at installing, better at educating, and better at supporting our customers. That's how we continue evolving and growing.
